Garden Hose Adapter for Rain Barrel Downspout Diverter

Got a rain barrel diverter but no clean way to connect a standard garden hose? This adapter bridges that gap — it plugs directly into your downspout diverter and gives you a proper female GHT (garden hose thread) connection on the outside. How it solves the problem

Standard downspout diverters use internal barb fittings — great for flexible tubing, not so great if you already have a perfectly good garden hose or washing machine hose with GHT ends. This adapter fits snugly into the diverter outlet and converts it to accept any hose with a standard US garden hose thread. That includes spare washing machine hoses, regular garden hoses, and most off-the-shelf connectors.

The setup
