Modular Under-Desk Drawer with Push-Lock | Gridfinity 4×2

This under-desk drawer mounts beneath your work surface and keeps pens, small tools, and everyday items within reach without claiming any desk space. It uses a push-push mechanism – press to open, press to close – so there's no handle to snag on anything and no extra hardware to operate.

How it works

A built-in elastic band system powers the push-push action. Press the drawer closed and it latches. Press again and it pops open smoothly. The drawer slides on a track and can be set to either release fully or stop at a fixed point – your choice when setting it up. A replaceable pin holds the mechanism together, and if it ever wears out you can swap in a new one without replacing the whole unit.

The drawer is built around the Gridfinity 4×2 standard, so it fits any compatible 42×42 mm bins and inserts you already own or want to add. This makes it easy to configure the interior exactly the way you want – one layout for a desk, another for a workbench.

Dimensions and setup

Each drawer unit measures 185 × 100 × 32 mm. It fits under most desks without being visible from the front, and because it's modular you can add drawers as your storage needs grow. Stacking is handled by two connector screws included with each unit – no tools required beyond what you'd use to mount the base to the underside of your desk.

Works well under standing desks, workbenches, or any surface with at least 35 mm of clearance. If you need more storage, add a second drawer beneath the first and connect them in seconds.
