Description
The original metal cup on the Bunn G3 grinder is designed for paper bags — not for a 58mm portafilter. The result is waste, misdosing, and a workflow that never quite runs smoothly. This chute is built with a 47mm opening that fits directly onto a 58mm portafilter, so the grounds land precisely and you can drop the makeshift solutions every morning.
The difference from day one
The geometry of the original cup is simply wrong for espresso use. This replacement solves the fundamental problem: grounds go from grinder to portafilter in one direct movement — no bridging, no spillage along the edge, no stressful workarounds. If you have a stripped-down or modified Bunnzilla, a shorter shorty version is included for setups with limited clearance beneath the chute.
