La Pavoni Boiler Cap Spindle – Mignon, Europiccola & Professional

The La Pavoni boiler cap spindle is one of the first parts to show wear on an older espresso machine. The spindle cracks, warps, or simply looks worn after years of use at high temperatures. This replacement spindle is made to hold up under real operating conditions inside a pressurised boiler and fits all variants of the Mignon, Europiccola and Professional series.

Tailored for La Pavoni from top to bottom

The hex socket in the spindle is sized for a standard socket wrench, so you can tighten the M12 nut correctly against the brass base — without slipping or improvising. At the bottom of the spindle there are 4 mm holes for dowels, which prevent the spindle from rotating during use once you've assembled everything.

How to get started

If you already have the machine out for servicing or descaling, it's the perfect time to replace the boiler cap. The spindle fits onto the brass base, the nut is tightened with a socket wrench, and the dowels lock the whole assembly in place. You don't need any special tools beyond a socket wrench you most likely already have.
