Description
The Rancilio Silvia Pro X load cell holder is the direct solution if you want precise weight measurement under your portafilter without sacrificing the drip tray or dealing with a loose external scale sitting beside the machine.
What it replaces — and why it works
The original spacer elements under the drip tray on the Silvia Pro X are simple plastic distances. This holder replaces them directly and positions two 1 kg load cells in the same location, so the drip tray rests on them instead. You get an integrated weighing function that measures in real time throughout the entire shot — no extra equipment on the countertop.
The holder is designed for two 1 kg load cells paired with HX711 amplifiers. There is a continuous cable cutout built into the design, so the wires can be routed neatly and out of sight. The height adjustment works the same way as the original solution, but sits slightly higher to accommodate the thickness of the load cells.
