Description

Two slug bait stations with a built-in roof, so your slug pellets stay sheltered from the rain instead of being washed out between your plants. The station is used with standard slug pellets such as Ferramol or other iron phosphate pellets – against garden snails and slugs in flower beds, vegetable gardens and greenhouses.

✔ 2 stations per pack ✔ Roof against rain ✔ Lift the roof and refill ✔ Reusable year after year

Scattered pellets don't stand up to the rain

If you scatter slug pellets straight onto the soil, the rain washes them away within a few days – and your protection is gone. In the station, the pellets stay together under the roof where the rain can't reach them, so they last longer and don't spread out across the bed. Slugs are attracted by the scent and crawl in under the roof by themselves.

The roof makes the difference

The roof sits over the base like a little umbrella. Slugs crawl in under the edge, while the rain runs off the top.

When it's time to refill, simply lift the roof off, put new pellets in the base and put the roof back on. No tools, no mess.

Which slug pellets fit the station?

Ferramol
The slug bait the station is made for. Sold separately in garden centres, DIY stores and online.
Other iron phosphate pellets
Standard iron phosphate-based slug pellets can be used the same way.
Beer as an alternative
Can be used instead of pellets – but then the station must be emptied and cleaned by hand regularly.
⚠️ Important: Slug pellets are not included. Always read and follow the instructions on the pellet packaging – regarding quantity, placement and precautions.

How to fill the station

1
Lift the roof off.
2
Put a small amount of pellets in the base – the amount is on the packaging.
3
Put the roof back on.
4
Place the station where you see slugs.
5
Check it and refill every 4-6 weeks during the season (March-October).

Slug bait station placed in a garden bed with pellets in the base

The station has a discreet design that blends in naturally between your plants. Place it directly on the soil in the bed or along the edge of the vegetable patch – where you find eaten leaves and slime trails in the morning.

With 2 stations in the pack, you can cover two spots in the garden from the start – e.g. both the vegetable patch and the flower bed.

How many stations do you need?

AreaStationsPacks of 2
Small bed (5-10 m²)11 pack
Typical vegetable patch or flower bed2-41-2 packs
Larger garden1 per 5-10 m² of active garden areaas needed

Start with one pack and adjust to how many slugs you see.

🗓️ Start early: Put the stations out in March-April to get the slugs before they lay eggs. A single slug can lay up to 400 eggs per season – early action is far more effective than late.

Frequently asked questions

Which slug pellets can I use?

The station is made for Ferramol and other iron phosphate pellets. You can also use beer as an alternative, but then it has to be emptied by hand.

Are slug pellets included?

No. The pellets are bought separately, e.g. in garden centres, DIY stores or online.

How many stations do I need?

How often should I refill?

Check the station and refill every 4-6 weeks through the season from March to October – and always follow the quantity stated on the pellet packaging.

Does the station need emptying?

With slug pellets, you simply top up as needed. If you use beer, empty and clean the station regularly.

What should I keep in mind?

Always read and follow the instructions and precautions on the slug pellet packaging – including placement and storage.
