The push-push mechanism means the front stays completely smooth when the drawer is closed. A single press releases the drawer, which automatically tips forward so the contents are instantly visible and easy to grab. One more press clicks it back into the closed position. The mechanism is driven by a small rubber band (1.4 × 16 mm or 1.4 × 20 mm) that controls the tipping motion – this is included or easy to source, but the exact size matters for reliable operation.
